Our Material Promise
Every piece of furniture from Wood Craft Furniture represents the highest tier of timber science, manufactured to strict international finish and durability standards.
"Our furniture is crafted using premium Rubberwood, manufactured to international standards synonymous with quality. The wood undergoes state-of-the-art processing including finger joining and edge gluing techniques, crafted in one of Asia's largest manufacturing facilities. Every piece conforms to strict international standards in finish and durability."
Finger Joining Technology
Natural wood contains inherent internal stresses that cause twisting or bending over time. Our automated German finger-jointing system cuts interlocking precision teeth along the timber grain and bonds them with D4-rated moisture-proof resin under 150-ton hydraulic press.
- Eliminates timber warp, twist, and seasonal contraction
- Uniform load distribution across the entire frame
- Tested for 30+ years of structural stability
Edge Glueing Process
Wide furniture surfaces (such as dining tables, bed panels, and mandapam walls) are formed through specialized edge-gluing. Individual finger-jointed timber battens are edge-bonded under high pressure to create wide, single-slab aesthetics without risk of splitting.
- 200% higher tensile strength than unlaminated solid planks
- Smooth planar surface with continuous wood grain flow
- 100% resistant to surface split lines and humidity gaps
International Standards
From raw timber harvesting to final hand buffing, our process complies with European and American furniture safety and durability benchmarks. All timber undergoes computer-controlled kiln drying to an exact 8%–10% moisture equilibrium.
- Vacuum Pressure Chemical Impregnation (Borer & Termite Proof)
- Eco-friendly Low-VOC Polyurethane Lacquer finishes
- Heat and liquid ring stain resistant topcoats
Asia's Leading Craftsmanship
